 Since the beginning of June 2012, we have been approached by 2 couples in need of assistance; we are short of funds at the moment as our last appeal was in March 2010. We are not trying to raise millions; we just need to raise enough money to meet the demand. Your tax deductible donation today, no matter how big or small will enable those two couples to begin their necessary treatments.
To give you an idea of how much ivf costs, treatment prices range between $3000- $8000 per cylce( varying depending on type of treatment.) We need to help two couples. We have already raised $3000. With your help today we can together ensure that these two couples will be able to begin their fertility treatment. Unlike most tragic problems in life, like cancer, or suicide, that no amount of money can fix; this is a problem that money can fix!

A one of a kind organisation
Australian Jewish Fertility Network (AJFN), formally known as ‘Spa For the Soul’, aims to provide resources, information, financial and emotional support to those struggling with infertility.
Through the ‘Spa For the Soul’ fundraiser evenings we have been able to provide financial assistance to those in the community who cannot afford the high costs associated with fertility treatment.
Through the expansion of our work to a more complete on line resource, we will now be able to provide information, resources and emotional support to anyone experiencing fertility issues, or simply to those with questions regarding fertility.
Our next Spa For the Soul event will be held on 29 October 2012 at the UNSW Roundhouse.Keep this date free for a wonderful evening of pampering for a great cause.
We are seeking volunteers, sponsors and in kind support. Please contact us to register your interest.
In the next few weeks we will be launching our new website and we would love to hear your suggestions and feedback.

With Rabbi Lewis, former community Rabbi of Perth and a Rabbinic counsellor at the Puah Institute, Jerusalem.

The Puah institute is an organisation that specializes in assisting couples with conceiving. Rabbi Lewis has an extensive knowledge of the Halacha of fertility issues as well as being a specialist in the laws of Family purity. He lives in Neve Daniel with his seven children and prior to that he and his wife resided in Perth Australia for seven years, serving as a community Rabbi.

We are looking for Volunteers to help out in the following areas:

  1. PR (spreading the word, press release, contacting communal organisations and shules)
  2. Raffle (organising prizes and selling of tickets)
  3. Food, decor and setup on the evening
  4. Assistance on the Evening: ushering,welcoming and event management.
  5. Corporate sponsorship (selling adverts for journal)
